Goldman Sachs Exec’s Trump Tirade Costs Him Spain & Portugal Gig
Alvaro del Castano, a Goldman Sachs veteran since 1993 and fresh cohead for Spain and Portugal this year, is exiting ‘in the coming months’ after Bloomberg spilled that he anonymously slammed Donald Trump’s 'poor manners' and Spain’s PM Pedro Sánchez on a Spanish news site without telling his masters. Goldman only found out **after** Bloomberg asked them (classic corporate surprise!). TheObjective deleted the articles faster than you can say 'morally questionable nature,' and Goldman’s PR tried the old ‘excellent 30-plus-year career’ and ‘looking forward to working with him’ routine, which in banker-speak means 'write your exit papers.'
