US Freaks Out China’s Gonna Win Tech Race by 2030

In a classic episode of 'Old White Men Panic,' a top US insider warned in 2024 that China might straight-up overtake the United States technologically within five to ten years — which means by 2029-2034, if we don’t 'do something.' No budget figures, no grand plan yet, just vague Do Something energy. Meanwhile, somewhere in Silicon Valley, executives sip their overpriced oat milk lattes and pretend the cloud will save us. The real kicker? The phrase itself sounds like the plot of a 90s action flick rather than a strategic briefing. This is giving big '1984 meets Apple keynote' dystopia energy.
