Ukraine’s Flamingo: Big Bird Goes Boom 1800 Miles Away

Ukraine's defense minister Denys Shmyhal proudly declared 'serial production of the missile' Flamingo has begun, which crazily carries a 1,000 kg warhead and can fly roughly 1,800 miles. This isn’t some backyard firework either—it’s rumored to threaten deep Russian production hubs in the Urals, around 1,000 miles distant. Featuring a 20-foot wingspan and sounding suspiciously like the Abu Dhabi FP-5 missile, the Flamingo weighs in at a chunky 6.6 tons—like a cruise missile having a midlife crisis and bulking up. According to Mirror of the Week, the missile's out partying on Russian soil already, setting targets on fire. Who ordered the long-range party favor? Ukraine did.
