Friendship isn't always sunshine and memes, warns clinical psychologist Miriam Kirmayer in Business Insider. Sure, your buddy might vent more than a broken A/C, but if they treat you like an energy vampire's snack or slap you with âbrutal honestyâ thatâs just abuse wrapped in sarcasm, itâs time to ghost. Kirmayer insists one-sided drama, constant put-downs, ignoring your âno,â or only texting when bored are huge red flags â basically, if your friend acts like a toddler with a megaphone, ditch them before your emotional sanity hits rock bottom.
